Tricks of the Trade, Search Engine Secrets Revealed!  Your website is online, now what?

Are you building your own website?  Are you paying for search engine rankings?  In some cases it helps, but in many cases you do not have to!  Here are the big secrets, tips for the website business owner  these are tricks that sellers promoting rankings do not want you to know!  Now the secrets are out.  You're welcome...

• Search for the key words "Search Engine" in your favorite search engine such as Yahoo or Google, find the search engines you want to improve rankings on.  First, search your own keywords for your business.  Somewhere on the page it says, Submit a Site.  Look hard for this on your results page after you have "not found yourself there" at the top.  Go there, and fill in the blanks.  Do this on as many search engines that you can find.  Also find DMOZ!  This is a keyword driven search engine site, "by the people, for the people".  They are there to improve search engine fairness.  These secret makes many search engine companies millions of dollars!  Do not do this more than every two week period!  Search Engines do not like excessive efforts.  Cooperate in that respect, and you will be rewarded with web site traffic!

• Keywords for your own site are key!  Open a good website you can find easily, then find the "source" option on your web browser with your drop menus at the top of your web browser.  With our new edition of explorer it is in the drop menu arrow next to the word called Page.  Open that and you will see their HTML.  Find at the top of this HTML view where they have added in their Keywords.  Be careful, and don't mess up your HTML!  Know what you are adding and carefully add the words exactly where they are needed with the beginning and ending marks that the keywords require.  Take lessons and learn from successful websites.  Then in your HTML view of your website on your website builder, add your keywords.  Do this before you Submit your site outlined above.  When your page is "crawled", it will look for these so do them first!  You can look at the source on our website if you would like to see where we put our keywords!  Were we a good example, easy to find in the search engines?  You did find us if you are reading this!

• Big Trick to get searched!  Many do not know this!  Have a leg up on your competition!  Name your pages with your top search engine keywords, adding "by your company" at the end.  Keep it short too!  Example of a good page name: "Rare English Car Parts, By Rays Automotive"  Note our title of our website at the top of your browser.  Titles can be safely added in Front Page if that is what you are using.  At the top of Front Page go to, background, page properties, then general tab.  Type it in there, then look at your HTML view.   Be careful what you change though!  Changing anything else in HTML can disrupt your site you have built.  This is needed though for website success, so it is indeed necessary.  Congratulations!  You will now have a leg up in search ladder result rankings!

• Lastly, be more than a junk page!  A "hit" is nothing if you are an irritation to the web user.  They will be trained that you are not worth anything.  So, write about what you sell.  Be an asset to the industry you serve.  Key sales ingredients are to inform and entertain.  Make someone happy they visited you!  Make your Website page a truthful value to the internet.  They will tell their friends about your source of information too!  It will help folks find you too, when asking the search engines questions about a topic in the search bar of your browser.  The words in your site will pull them to you too, a win-win on our internet commerce highway!  You will get viewer traffic that "sticks around" and reads about you, as well as happy internet customers seeking your information!  Good Luck in your efforts!
